For nearly 15 years the London Festival of Architecture has been a celebration of the architects and architecture of our great city. The festival takes place annually throughout the month of June. Architecture Masters is the new podcast from the LFA which extends this celebration throughout the year.
In the podcast we talk to the people behind the buildings: a series of one-to-one conversations with some of the leading lights of London’s architectural profession.
These are the people quietly shaping our cities – all hugely respected within the industry, yet somehow their modest profile often belies the impact they have on the world around us. You might have seen the stunning buildings they create, but what drives the creative genius behind these designers as they balance the difficult and often conflicting demands of running a profitable business with their passion for delivering beautiful, functional and uplifting spaces.
In the podcast we take architecture as our starting point and let the conversation flow freely from there. This is a programme for those that are interested in the people who are shaping our world.
Previous guests have included Mary Duggan, Ben Derbyshire, Chris Dyson, Patty Hopkins, Carl Tuner and many more.
You can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes, Apple Podcasts, TuneIn, Google Play or by searching for ‘Architecture Masters’ wherever you get your podcast.
