Hyper-Intention

Jasmin Vardi's six video installation presents therapeutic environments and various applications in the medical world.

The videos blur the boundaries between presence and absence, dealing with the practices of management, control and use of institutional power over the individual.

The hospital arena presented to us by Vardi is ultramodern, sterile and empty. All patients, maintenance staff and medical staff are absent. The experience designed by Vardi lingers on the corporeal border to hint at the possibilities beyond it.
