Virtual Speakers Tower

The Virtual Speakers Tower aims to bring together a selection of speakers to discuss issues that they are currently facing such as housing, regeneration, rights or corruption. As the lockdown has prevented the physical event from happening, the digital platform allows the contributors to prepare their pitch in an informal setting using remote conferencing applications such as Zoom. A series of live events will be advertised throughout June where the 7 minute recording will be segued into the next instalment with the previous speakers favourite track of music. At the end of the festival, with the permission if everyone involved it will turned into a full programme that will be shown at a later date. Additionally, a model of the tower will be made, which will be animated to show how the physical speakers tower would work.
