The power of urban design: the morphology of place

25 June 2020

13:00 -14:00

Urban design transcends different scales and aspects of the built environment including the tangible and intangible layers of society. It is a unique and powerful discipline that can be used to interpret, influence and change the city, place and way we live. When these different aspects and systems are intelligently interrogated the results can inform new interventions from buildings to whole cities. The power of urban design extends to helping respond to major events, including health crises and global pandemics, and assessing and implementing tangible ways that we live. Join the directors of Savills Urban Design Studio for a virtual seminar to explore some of these ideas in more depth, and contribute your thoughts and questions via a Q&A session at the end.
