The Power of Architecture

A virtual exhibition of photographic images inspired by the changing experiences of city life, as new developments re-shape London. It is a personal response to the visual and physical diversity that is emerging., which engages with the sense of power, awe and wonder that the architecture engenders. Vivid colours and striking compositions give the images a surreal, larger than life quality. What was low rise and familiar is being replaced by an architecture for high density, urban living; cities of the future. It is an architecture which is visually fascinating to engage with, but which also leads me to question the political undercurrents that accompany it.
